Today is Day #11. Today’s challenge is not something you can complete in one day but something where we’re challenging you to make the first step today.
It’s getting off your pharmaceutical medications. I realize you should NEVER quit cold turkey or make these decisions yourself without working with your doctor.
According to the Washington Post, 3 in 5 Americans (probably the same in almost all Western nations) are on a prescription drug of some kind.
We are not healthy people. Our population is so sick, they need to be propped up by synthetic drugs.
So today’s task is to find 5 minutes here or 5 minutes there and do a little bit of research about the medication you’re on. Then make a phone call to your doctor and schedule an appointment to talk to him or her about coming up with a systemic approach to gradually weaning off of them over time.
Make sure to work with your doctor on a practical plan of at least diminishing your current medicines, if you can.
Find out what lifestyle factors need to be altered in order to make this transition process easier.
Invest in you.
You’re worth it.
Instructions: Spend 5 minutes today researching the medication(s) you’re on, then call your doctor to make an appointment to talk to him or her. Just open the conversation and get the ball rolling. Take a picture of your computer screen during your research and use the hashtag #ExtremeHealthChallenge and show us what you got, also tag us @extremehealthacademy.
