Open up this page: https://www.extremehealthacademy.com/qanda/. Or this could be a Member’s Hangout as well.
First add the time and update the video count here:
I get the duration here:
Open up Vimeo and click on the video:
Under General, make sure to add it to the Mastermind Q&A “Album”
Make sure to change the title:
Then scroll to a particular part in the video where Dr. Bergman looks good, excited or demonstrative and take a “screen shot” of this video for the thumbnail like so:
First I click on the video to enlarge it and take a high res thumbnail for Vimeo and then I size it down to 500 to make the smaller thumbnail that goes into the Academy.
Once I create the larger Vimeo thumbnail I upload it here:
then click Save.
Next and while you’re on this page copy the embed code and store it in a text file for later like so:
Once you’ve added it to the correct Album, copied the embed code, uploaded a screenshot thumbnail and clicked save….you can now close this tab.
Then take that screenshot and open it up in Canva or Photoshop and adjust the size to 500 wide and by default it should make it about 280 pixels wide. This is the best size for the thumbnails that go into the Academy.
Once you’ve added it to the correct Album in vimeo you should see it on the main page:
The next step is creating the course page for it…
Open the most recent Q&A into a new tab:
Create the button that links to the forum discussion like so:
Find a button that has “session” in it and copy it:
Change these 3 fields:
For the forum url link we’ll have to do this…
Go to the admin control panel in the forums:
Go to the forums section:
Then go here:
Then go to Monthly Q&A Masterminds:
Find the latest one and click copy:
Make sure to change the Title, the description text and the url for the link that says, “Click here to watch”
Then scroll down and click save:
You can leave all the other settings as is.
Then reorder by dragging and dropping to the top of the list:
Now this latest forum thread should be at the top:
Close this tab.
Go back to the forums and refresh and you should see this:
Copy the link url:
Close this tab.
And paste it here:
Then click save:
Then copy the code for that button & save it in a txt file:
Go to a recent Mastermind we did and click edit:
Click “Add New” in a new tab:
Change the Title and add the correct button code that’s in your txt file:
Change “Lesson Details” to Stand Alone Lesson and Active:
Go back to vimeo and copy the embed code:
Close Vimeo tab.
Go back to the Academy page, scroll down and paste the embed code here:
Uncheck “Allow Comments”
Check “Add Vimeo Jumplinks”
Check “Add direct jumplink URLs”
Open up the txt file with the timestamps in it and count how many there are. In this case 30:
Click the button 30 times to create 30 timestamps:
So it looks more like this:
Because the theme we’re using works on a 00:00:00 format you’ll need to add extra zeros to the text file.
First it will look like this:
After it should look like this:
Then one by one copy each time and description like so:
Notice in the screenshot above I have used the and around a group of text I want to make BOLD. This makes it easier for our member’s to easily scroll down the page and see what catches their eye. I try to bold a word or phrase on each line.
Continue until you’ve added all the time stamps.
The output preview should look like this:
Notice the bold text and how there are the link URLs at the right.
Once it looks good click “Publish”
Then click this link:
Copy the URL and save it to a txt file:
Now you need to add it to 2 pages.
Then click “Add Row” after the “Any Questions” Row:
It should look like this: http://prntscr.com/mlaq4f
Add the thumbnail, the Content Headline (I copy from a previous one and change the number and the month), and the URL from your text file:
Now the page should have this new video at the top like so:
It should also be here:
You’re done with that page!
Now it has to be added to the Dashboard page.
Scroll up and click Dashboard:
Then click Edit:
Scroll down and delete the oldest piece of content:
Now scroll back up and add a row to the top:
Add an image: http://prntscr.com/mlarzz
Add the Headline, Description and link:
For the headline I’ll copy and change (the month and number) an existing corresponding piece of content.
For the description I’ll mention how many questions we covered along with a few of the items we put in bold before.
Here’s how I do it:
Paste in the content description along with the URL and then click update:
Click here to preview the page:
It should look like this:
Once this is added to the Dashboard page as well as the Mastermind Q&A page, you’re done! 🙂
