Hello, my friends,

Day #3 – Meditation. Are you in?

Meditation and quieting your mind have tremendous benefits to your nervous system. Recognizing that you are not your thoughts, you are not your emotions and you are not evening your past experiences or your opinions, but you are the thinker and experiencer of those things, is a complete game-changer.

We are truly spiritual beings having a physical experience.

Anger, jealousy, fear, worry, and depression all put a tremendous amount of stress on your entire nervous system.

Meditation is how we overcome those emotions. It has been said that the cause of all suffering is attachment.

When we meditate we learn to detach, to let go, and to fully experience who we *really* are.

Instructions: Find 5 (10 minutes if you’re brave) minutes to sit quietly away from all distractions and focus on your breath during meditation. Post a picture of it to your Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook account and tag us @extremehealthacademy with the hashtag #ExtremeHealthChallenge!
