the better. The first thing that I noticed
After I read the description for this scale, I knew I had to have it. I'm into anything geeky. The more information it gives me, the better. The first thing that I noticed, after I opened the Amazon box, was the quality, and weight, of the box the scale came in. It was obvious that this was going to be a high quality product. The scale works very closely with the app iWellness. In the Smart Scale Manual, on page 4, is a QR code to scan to download the app. There's a QR code for iPhone & another for Android. I installed the app on my iPhone, turned on Bluetooth on my phone then I installed the included batteries into the scale. I opened the app and entered the requested information (name, birthday, M or F, height, kg or lbs and a few other things). I then put the scale on a solid wood floor (don't put it down on carpet) and stood on it barefoot, if you stand on it in socks, it will only give you your weight. Within a few seconds all the information is filled out on the phone. There is a lot of information (Body Water %, Body Fat %, Bone Weight, BMI, Visceral Fat, BMR, Muscle Mass & Weight) and you can save it if you want. You can look at the history of your saved numbers to find out if they are going up or down. It's pretty cool being able to get all this information by just standing on the scale at home. If you, or someone you know, has a use for all the information this scale delivers, or you're just curious what your readings are every so often, then you can't do better than this Digital Smart Bluetooth Scale by 1byOne.
